|
| Are there any side effects?
|
|
|
There are no known potential side effects with HairGenesis When used as directed,
our hair loss treatment products are completely safe and effective to
use. This is one of the many benefits of using our products versus
other products which use various drugs, such as Rogaine,
Avacor
, Follicare,
Hair
Advantage and generic
Minoxidil which use Minoxidil and the drugs
Propecia and
Proscar which both use Finasteride. |
|
|
|
| How soon can I begin to see results?
|
|
|
Although HairGenesis starts working immediately, visibly relevant results generally take between two to three months. Although some
people may observe positive changes in the quality, length or
thickness of their hair in a shorter period of time, three months of
regular daily usage is recommended in
order to begin to determine the benefit being provided. |
| |
| What is the rate of success using HairGenesis?
|
The HairGenesis hair care system works for the
vast majority of users. It has been clinically proven and
independently verified to be at least 60% effective, but in actual
usage, we believe it to be much higher.
This has been verified through both open label and placebo controlled clinical
research. For example, in a recent peer reviewed and
published study, the HairGenesis oral formulation arrested hair
loss in all treatment patients examined within the study. By way of
contrast, control patients in the same study experienced continued
hair loss.
Compare the much higher success rate of HairGenesis with other
products: 26% success rate for Minoxidil for men (such as used in Rogaine,
Avacor
, Follicare,
Hair
Advantage and generic
Minoxidil) and only 19% success rate for Minoxidil for women.
Or 48% success rate for the drugs Propecia (1mg Finasteride) and
Proscar (5mg Finasteride) |

|
| How will I know if HairGenesis will work for me?
|
It has worked for thousands of other
people, why shouldn't it work for you? If your hair is thinning or
falling out due to male or female pattern hair loss, then this is
exactly what our products are designed to treat. If your hair loss is
caused by some other problem, then you should consult a dermatologist
or other health care professional.
If you do have other members of
your family who have thinning hair or hairloss, then there may be a
pattern hair loss problem in your family line. If you've tried other
products and they did not work for you, perhaps it was because those
other products do not or can not effectively treat pattern hair loss
due to the effects of DHT, despite the claims they may make.
Our
products have been clinically tested and independently verified to
stop thinning hair and hair loss due to pattern hairloss. When used
properly, they do work for the vast majority of men and women
regardless of race or ethnicity. |
|
| Were any medical studies performed on your products?
|
| The specific botanical compositions found in HairGenesis has been tested under a number of clinical studies, including placebo controlled, double blind,
IRB-Monitored, FDA-Regulated research.
This particular research study was published
in the highly-esteemed peer-reviewed medical journal "The Journal of Alternative & Complimentary Medicine". As such, the HairGenesis composition is the only
Non-Drug hair loss treatment to have accomplished this important goal.
This means that, unlike many other hairloss treatment products which
make claims of abnormally high success rates, Hair Genesis can
in fact support its claims with actual scientific and clinical evidence. |
|
| Is HairGenesis
anything like Rogaine?
|
| Absolutely not! HairGenesis
does not rely on the blood pressure medication Minoxidil,
as Rogaine does. You can
read this in-depth Rogaine
comparison and learn more about the many advantages of using our
products. By way of contrast, HairGenesis is based entirely upon a
suite of naturally derived, botanically active compounds that have
demonstrated remarkably positive activity against the problematic
metabolic processes of 5-Alpha-Reducatase ( 5AR ) and DHT typically
associated with pattern hair loss in men and women. |
|
|
Is HairGenesis
anything like Avacor?
|
| Absolutely not! HairGenesis
does not rely on the blood pressure medication Minoxidil,
as Avacor does. You can read this
in-depth Avacor comparison and learn
more about the many advantages of using our products. By way of
contrast, HairGenesis is based entirely upon a suite of naturally
derived, botanically active compounds that have demonstrated
remarkably positive activity against the problematic metabolic
processes of 5-Alpha-Reducatase ( 5AR ) and DHT typically associated
with pattern hair loss in men and women. |
|
| Is HairGenesis
anything like Hair Advantage?
|
| Absolutely not! HairGenesis
does not rely on the blood pressure medication Minoxidil,
as Hair Advantage does. You
can read this in-depth Hair
Advantage comparison and learn more about the many advantages of
using our products. By way of contrast, HairGenesis is based
entirely upon a suite of naturally derived, botanically active
compounds that have demonstrated remarkably positive activity against
the problematic metabolic processes of 5-Alpha-Reducatase ( 5AR ) and
DHT typically associated with pattern hair loss in men and women. |
|
| What is so different about your topical hair products?
|
The HairGenesis system has been
designed specifically around both oral and topical products, because
hair effected by pattern hair loss is uniquely susceptible to the
effects of DHT both internally and topically on the scalp. Thus an
effective treatment must combat the DHT effects both internally (such
as through the Hair Genesis Oral Soft Gels) and topically (such as
through the Hair Genesis Shampoo and Topical Activator Serum).
Through a proprietary scientific process, when you begin to use the
HairGenesis Oral Soft Gels, they start to block the further
formation of DHT in the body internally. When there is less and then
no more DHT being formed in the body, there is less and no more DHT
that can effect the hair follicles and cause hair to get thin and fall
out.
Likewise the topical products in the HairGenesis treatment regimen
offer an effective means for delivering powerful DHT Blocking elements
directly to susceptible hair follicles
through their regular usage. Both the Shampoo and Topical Activator
Serum contain compositions of the DHT Blockers which are in the Soft
Gels, which can protect the hair follicles on the inside by blocking
DHT which may already be circulating in the body from getting inside
and harming them. |
|
| How long will I have to use this treatment?
|
| HairGenesis, is an extremely easy
to use and cost effective answer against pattern hair loss. It may be
used for so long as one wishes to enjoy the hair improving benefits. |
|
| What will happen if I stop using HairGenesis - will I lose my
hair again?
|
HairGenesis is a treatment,
albeit a remarkably safe and effective treatment against pattern hair
loss in both men and women. Thus the benefit can be maintained only so
long as the treatment is continued to some extent or another.
In order to more fully answer this question, let us consider a
comparison with dental care. If you stop brushing your teeth every day, what will happen? In the
same way, if you stop blocking the formation of DHT everyday, such as
through the HairGenesis Oral Soft Gels, then DHT will once again
start affecting your hair follicles and cause your hair to get thin
and fall out.
If someone told you that they had a
special tooth-paste that you only needed to use for six months and
then you would never have to brush your teeth again, what would you
think?
The answer is rather obvious! Tooth decay is going to happen unless
you do something about it on a regular basis. It's just a part of
daily hygiene. So if you wish to maintain strong, healthy, clean
teeth, you have to brush two or three times a day, floss and see a
dentist on a regular basis each year.
In the same way, if someone told you that they had a special hair loss
treatment product that you only needed to use for six months and then
you would never have to use again, what would you think?
Again, the answer is rather obvious! If you wish to maintain strong,
healthy-looking hair, you have to apply the same kind of on-going hair
hygiene as you do with your teeth. Just as tooth decay can be an
on-going process, so is DHT Metabolism in the body. DHT will continue
to be formed in the body, whether you choose to do something about it
or not.
So just as you will want to brush your teeth everyday, you would want
to continue to block the formation and effects of DHT every day. You
might not need to continue using the HairGenesis topical products,
but we suggest you use the HairGenesis Oral Soft Gels to continue
to block the DHT in the body. You probably already take various
vitamin and mineral supplements. You might want to consider taking one
or two Soft Gels a day along with your other nutritional supplements
in order to continue to maintain your hair.
We think that's a lot easier, a lot safer and a lot more effective
than having to rub Minoxidil (such as used in Rogaine,
Avacor
, Hair
Advantage , generic
Minoxidil and Follicare)
on your scalp, every day, twice a day (morning and
night) for the rest of your life. (The reason is that if you use a
Minoxidil product and then stop, you will lose all of the hair you may
have grown back.) |
|
| Can I purchase these products individually?
|
| Although HairGenesis products may be purchased
individually, the greatest value can be found through the purchase of
the Best Value Kits. For
instance, one can purchase a year's supply of the entire HairGenesis
treatment regimen for less than $1 per day. |
|
|
Is these products available in stores or salons?
|
| In order to keep costs competitive, HairGenesis
is not yet available through retail distribution. Moreover, many
people have personal questions about hair loss that they want answers
for, and our staff are trained to answer those questions for you. If
they cannot, you will be asked to send your question to our Research
Department. |
|
| Will this product interact with any of my medications and or
vitamins?
|
| HairGenesis is an extremely safe
formulation. Typically, this product should cause no difficulties with
any other dietary or vitamin or mineral supplement. Furthermore,
although HairGenesis should not interfere with any of your
prescription medications, for the definitive medical opinion on
medical questions of this nature, we recommend that you consult your
treating physician. |
|
|
If I am pregnant or nursing, should I use
HairGenesis?
|
| Although you may safely use the
topical products (Shampoo and Topical Activator Serum), we
suggest that you consult your physician before using the HairGenesis
Oral Soft Gels or any other oral supplement if you are pregnant or
nursing. Generally, it is not recommended to use the Soft Gels at such
times. |
|
| Will I grow hair on any other part of my body?
|
No, unlike other types of hair loss
teatment products, HairGenesis will not grow hair on other parts of
the body. Pattern hair loss is caused by a particular sensitivity of
certain scalp hair follicles to DHT. Therefore, the HairGenesis
hair care system has been designed to work only in revitalizing such
susceptible scalp hairs by combating the effects of the DHT.
In contrast, using hairloss treatment products that rely on the blood
pressure drug Minoxidil (such as used in Rogaine,
Avacor
, Hair
Advantage , generic
Minoxidil and Follicare) can grow hair on other parts of the body. This is
particularly true for women who have reported growing facial hair when
using Minoxidil. |
|
|
I am losing my eyebrows. Can HairGenesis help me, and if so,
would I apply it the same way as I would to my scalp?
|
| HairGenesis
Topical Activator Serum is recommended for use ONLY on the scalp. We
suggest you consult with a physician about this. |
|
| I've lost most of my hair, can HairGenesis still help me?
|
| If
you are at an advanced stage of hairloss (see the Norwood
diagram of hair loss), most likely neither our products nor other
products will be very helpful. There would be little that could be
done to regrow hair on the scalp that has fallen out many, many years
ago. |
|
| I'm not really losing my hair, but I am interested in getting
thicker hair. Can HairGenesis help me?
|
| If your hair is thinning due to
pattern hair loss in men or women, then HairGenesis can help. It
is thought that in the typical individual, a clinically obvious degree
of hair loss only results when one has lost approximately 50% of one's
hair density. Thus, a person may be actively losing hair for years
before such loss becomes visibly apparent. The HairGenesis
hair care system has been designed to enhance the health of scalp hair
follicles. The products do not just coat existing hair to make
it appear thicker, but produce thicker natural hair. Some of our
customers use HairGenesis just to thicken their hair. |
|
| Can I continue to perm/dye or straighten my hair?
|
| As a
general rule, you may continue to do so, but bear in mind that such
chemicals can, in and of themselves, result in broken hair and hair
loss. We also strongly recommend that you do not use products that
contain lye. |
|
| My hair loss was caused by a bad perm/dye or a hair straightening
system. Can HairGenesis help me?
|
| Although no formal studies
have been undertaken in examination of this question, there is
generally no harm in testing HairGenesis within this context. In
other words, some benefit to hair follicles damaged in this way from
chemical exposure, may result. However, no guarantee of
effectiveness can be provided due to the lack of empirical scientific data in regard to
this matter. |
|
| Can I use my own hair styling products?
|
| Typically yes, you may use your own
styling products, such as conditioners,
hot oil treatments, gel, mousse, hairspray, hair rollers and curling
irons. |
