Why am I losing my hair?
|
|
Due to the continued
ever-increasing effects of DHT in the scalp hair
follicles, the Growth Stage is getting shorter, while
the Resting Stage is getting longer.
Consider an analogy of leaves on a tree. Picture a
situation where the Winter or Resting Stage gets
longer and longer, while the Spring or Growing Stage
gets shorter and shorter. This is what happens when
you are in the process of losing your hair.
This pattern of male or female hairloss generally
occurs over a period of several years to many years.
All the time, DHT continues to be produced inside the
body and topically on the scalp, and then lock inside more hair follicles in the
scalp. Eventually the hairs may simply not grow back at
all and they just fall out. So by the time that you
notice an area of baldness on your scalp, it means
that this pattern hairloss progression has been
happening already for many months or possibly several
years.
The more that DHT accumulates and locks inside the
scalp hair follicles, the more the hairloss occurs and the
faster it occurs. Once DHT locks inside the hair
follicles, it cannot be removed. So you have to stop
it, that is, block the DHT, before it gets to the hair
follicles.

Does Minoxidil really work to stop my Hair Loss?
|
|
Minoxidil does not contain ingredients which block DHT
from getting into your hair follicles. Actually it was
developed many years ago to treat high blood pressure.
It was discovered that some individuals using the drug
had a temporary or slight decrease in hair thinning or
hair loss. So it was put into a liquid form that could
be used externally right on the scalp and
marketed as Rogaine.
So when
applied topically to your scalp, Minoxidil is simply designed to dilate
the blood vessels in the hair follicles that are
growing smaller, with the idea that more nutrients
might be able to get to those hair follicles to help
keep them alive. However, it is essentially not
blocking DHT and consequently, more and more DHT still gets
inside the hair follicles, which increases the hair
thinning and hair loss process.
Overall, according to the FDA, Minoxidil is actually
not very effective: FDA

For
Women: 19% (less than 1 out of 5 users get some

On What Parts of the Scalp Hair Does
Rogaine® (Rogain) or Minoxidil Work?
|
Drug Facts
about Rogaine Minoxidil
This is the back of a box of Men's
Rogaine® Extra Strength Minoxidil
(some statements have been boxed in green to highlight them)
|

|
|

(from the side panel of a box of Rogaine®)
|
|
According to the statement above by Rogaine®
(Rogain),
if you have thinning hair or pattern hair loss
which is
already more advanced than the what is shown in
the photos above, or if you have
hairloss which is outside
the range or Vertex shown in the
pictures above,
Rogaine®
(Rogain) or Minoxidil may not work for
you at all.
|
|
|
Top Crown or
Vertex area:
The side panel on a box of Men's
Rogaine® Extra Strength Minoxidil
shows that Rogaine® (Rogain) or
Minoxidil is limited
to working on the top crown - vertex area of the scalp only: the area inside the white boxes in the photos above.
In comparison, Hair Genesis is not limited and does work
effectively on all areas of the scalp, including the Top Crown or
Vertex.
See these hair growth photos
for an example.
|
|
Frontal
baldness and receding hairline area:
The side panel on a box of Men's
Rogaine® Extra Strength Minoxidil also specifically states that Rogaine®
(Rogain) or Minoxidil is not intended for frontal baldness or
a receding hairline, but rather "Use to regrow
hair on the top of the scalp - vertex only."
In comparison, Hair Genesis does work effectively on Frontal
Baldness or a Receding Hair Line. See these photos
of twins for an example.
|
|
Back area
baldness:
Rogaine® (Rogain) or Minoxidil
is not intended to work on the back portion of the scalp
either, the area around and below the vertex (outside the white boxes in the pictures
above).
In comparison, Hair Genesis does work effectively on the back portion of
the scalp. See these hair growth
photos for an example.

Why buy ineffective hair loss drugs online, like Minoxidil or generic
Rogaine, and spend as much as $220 a year or more, when you can purchase non-drug Hair
Genesis that works far more effectively, but for about than half the
price?
And you do not have to take chances of having unpleasant side
effects that can happen when using the Rogaine or Minoxidil
topical hair
loss lotions.
Overall, HairGenesis™ is a
better hair loss treatment remedy for either Men or Women with thinning
hair or hairloss than Rogaine or generic
Minoxidil.
